Rules and Regulations
Read before skating at Poseidon.

Please read our rules before entering the rink.

  1. Everyone entering the ice rink must pay the entrance fee and be in possession of an ID. This is required, among other things, for renting skates.
  • The management reserves the right to refuse admission.
  • Admission is free for parents (not skating) accompanying their children.
  1. The management accepts no responsibility for any accidents, damage and/or theft.
  2. Insurance in the event of an accident is NOT included in our rates.
  3. Temporary leaving the ice rink is only permitted with the prior consent of the management. This is never permitted if you are wearing skates.
  4. Only instructors recognized by the management are permitted to give skating lessons
  5. For safety reasons, it is recommended that you wear gloves and a helmet.
  6. The following is strictly prohibited:
  • making deep grooves in the ice
  • smoking on the ice rink; there is a TOTAL SMOKING BAN, including e-cigarettes (legal provision) and within 10 meters of the entrance to the ice rink.
  • skating against the direction of traffic (counterclockwise is the right one)
  • playing with objects on the ice rink
  • pushing or causing others to fall. You are responsible for your own safety.
  • entering the ice rink with shoes
  1. In the event of an accident, please notify the ice rink staff.
  2. As soon as the signal is given, the rink must be cleared (to scrape the ice). This happens approximately every two hours.
  3. Persons who do not comply with these regulations or who, through their behavior or language, may damage the good reputation of the ice rink will be asked to leave immediately without any right to a refund or compensation.
